Beautiful Minds Learning is a K–6 homeschool hybrid program created to support families who have chosen homeschooling and are seeking professional partnership, enrichment, and classroom-based learning experiences for their children.
Parents remain the primary educators, and our program serves as an extension of the home—outsourcing select academic instruction and hands-on learning experiences to qualified teachers in a small-group classroom setting. We blend strong academics with hands-on enrichment in STEM, art, and cooking, all within a welcoming environment.

Common Questions
Our program blends strong academics with hands-on enrichment in STEM, art, and cooking—all within a warm welcoming environment.
Beautiful Minds Learning uses a blend of values-based and academic resources to create a hands-on, engaging, and flexible learning experience for every child.
For math and language arts, parents purchase their child’s curriculum directly from The Good and The Beautiful website for their child’s grade level.
Families will need the following items in their child's grade level:
- The Complete Math Set
- The Complete Language Arts Set
- The Handwriting book
Please clearly write your child’s name on all curriculum materials, as these materials belong to your family and may be reused for younger siblings in the future. All additional materials and supplies needed for classroom lessons will be provided by Beautiful Minds Learning.
For subjects such as science, history, art, STEM, and cooking, we do not follow a single boxed curriculum. Instead, teachers design lesson plans aligned with district-grade-level standards, using supplemental resources that meet our academic expectations and reflect the values, quality, and mission of our program.
Beautiful Minds Learning offers flexible scheduling options designed to support both homeschool and hybrid families. Families may choose between 2-day or 4-day attendance options.
One of the primary reasons families choose to homeschool is to enjoy more meaningful time at home together—less rushed mornings, more peaceful afternoons, and greater flexibility for family life. Our schedule is intentionally designed to reflect and support those values.
Our school day begins at 10:00 AM and concludes at 2:30 PM, allowing for slower mornings and more unhurried afternoons. Classes are not held on Fridays, which are intentionally reserved for family time, rest, enrichment, and flexibility.
Families may choose:
- 4-day enrollment, where students receive a full, in-class curriculum across the school year
- 2-day enrollment, where students attend class two days per week and complete lessons at home on the remaining two days as traditional homeschool learning days
Our open-and-go curriculum allows parents to easily facilitate at-home learning, ensuring students stay on pace and return to class ready to continue on the same lesson as their peers.
This model empowers families to maintain the heart of homeschooling—family time, flexibility, and parent involvement—while still benefiting from structured instruction, professional teachers, and a supportive learning community.
Beautiful Minds Learning is a completely privately funded program. We do not receive direct financial support from government programs or public school funding. This intentional choice allows us to preserve the integrity of our program, remain aligned with our beliefs and values, and operate independently of government mandates—including standardized state testing requirements.
While we do not accept government funding directly, we do accept parent-directed educational funds, including:
- Utah Fits All Scholarship
- Harmony Education
- OpenEd
- The Children’s First Scholarship
These programs allow families to use awarded funds toward tuition while maintaining full educational choice.
Program Structure
Beautiful Minds Learning is not an accredited private school. Rather, we function as a hybrid homeschool and tutoring center, providing structured, hands-on instruction and enrichment for homeschool families. Parents remain the primary educators, and our program supports them with professional guidance, curriculum, and small-group learning experiences.

Enrollment Process at Beautiful Minds Learning
Priority Enrollment
Current students and their siblings receive priority for re-enrollment for the upcoming school year.
This ensures families already part of our program have the first opportunity to secure spots.
Remaining Spots
Any remaining spaces after priority enrollment will be filled through an annual application process.
This allows new families and students to join our program if space is available.

All families, including returning students, must complete the online enrollment application.
The application collects essential information such as student name, grade level, preferred attendance (2-day or 4-day), parent contact details, and any academic or behavioral considerations.
Families also acknowledge that our program is a faith-based, homeschool hybrid program and that parents remain the primary educators.

Families must read and sign the policies before paying the non-refundable registration fee.
